Oasis Poker Rules

Oasis Poker is a variation of poker game. It is played against the dealer with a single deck of 52 cards. The purpose of the player is to receive the greatest denominations combination from five cards. The highest card is an Ace, the lowest is a Two.

The deck is shuffled before dealing and the Oasis Poker game starts.

  • The player makes his bet by putting the chips on the ANTE box, not exceeding 50
  • Then the dealer and the player are dealt five cards.
  • The dealer's last card is revealed.
  • The player is being shown then his cards to evaluate its strength.

After evaluation the player has to take a decision. In Oasis Poker 3 different options available:

1. Drop the cards - the player looses his bet on ANTE (press "surrender" button).

2. Keep the cards and continue to play. The player clicks on "hit" button - for placing a bet that is twice higher then the previous bet ANTE in the BET field.

3. Discard from 1 to 5 cards. To do this, hit desired cards with the mouse cursor and click on Change button. The player is then charged off the amount, which is equal to his initial bet multiplied by the quantity of the cards being discarded. Some games impose the player to discard the cards no more then two times.

The dealer makes replacement of the cards. After exchange, the player evaluates his cards again to take another decision on the following issues. If the player continues to play, the dealer reveals his cards. If the dealer has no game (doesn't qualify as any one of the possible hands), the winning amount is equal to initial bet (ANTE), independently of what kind of hand a player has. If the dealer's cards form any of the playing combinations, the player reveals his cards for comparison. If the dealer has the hand of higher value, the player looses the game along with all of his bets. If the player has the hand of higher value, ANTE bet returns 1:1 rate payout, and amount that was put on BET field returns the payout according to the player's poker combination.

In Oasis Poker every hand is evaluated in according to eleven possible combinations. A combination is defined by the value of its cards as well as by their suits. The order in which the cards are received does not matter.

Oasis Poker Hands

Royal Flush the highest poker hand: 5 highest cards of one suit (Ace-King-Queen-Jack-10).
Straight Flush straight in one suit.
Four of a Kind 4 cards of the same rank, for example, 4 Jacks or 4 Fives (plus one extra card).
Full or Full House 3 cards of the same rank and 2 of another, for example, 6-6-6-King-King.
Flush 5 cards of the same suit.
Straight 5 successive cards, for example, 9-8-7-6-5. Suits don't matter. An ace can be both the highest card (Ace-King-Queen-Jack-10) and the lowest card in a combination (5-4-3-2-Ace). Ace within the combination does not make up a Straight (e.g. 3-2-Ace-King-Queen).
Three of a Kind 3 cards of the same rank, for example, 9-9-9-Queen-4.
Two Pairs two cards of one rank and two of another, for example, Ace-Ace-5-5-10.
One Pair two cards of one rank, for example, 8-8-King-4-2.
Ace-King an ace and a king of any suits, for example, Ace-King-8-7-3.
No Hand cards do not make any of the above combinations, for example, Jack-10-7-5-2.

The higher is the combination, the higher is the hand. If two hands have the same combinations, they are valued as in the regular poker by the rank of the cards.
